Library Support Through License Plates
The Kentucky Library Association is working to bring a new library license plate to Kentucky. In order for the Division of Motor Vehicle Licensing to produce the plates they must receive 900 applications. So far 214 library lovers across Kentucky have made the pledge to purchase at least one plate. Once the plates are available, each person will need to request the plate when renewing vehicle tags at the local county clerk's office.
At the time of registration or renewal the library association will request a $10 donation for Kentucky’s libraries that will automatically be added to the cost, unless an individual opts out of the recommended donation.
