GonzoFest Louisville

GonzoFest Louisville is the annual celebration of Louisvillian Hunter S. Thompson, originator of Gonzo journalism. Thompson biographer William McKeen, and others will gather to discuss Gonzo journalism’s roots and the evolution of political coverage from the Nixon era to the present. In addition to lectures and panels, GonzoFest Louisville will showcase spoken word artists and poets, as well as visual art created live by Braylyn Stewart and Grant Goodwine, and live music from Vice Tricks, Zu Zu Ya Ya, Ron Whitehead, Big Atomic, Casey Powell featuring Down To Mars, and Proles. Craft, food, and drink vendors will be on site throughout.
