African American Film Series: When They See Us

The library and the University of Louisville Health Sciences Center Office of Diversity and Inclusion present a screening of the first episode of Ava DuVernay’s When They See Us (TV-MA). The series tells the true story of five teens from Harlem who were falsely accused of a brutal attack in New York City’s Central Park. The film will be followed by a panel discussion with UofL faculty and representatives of community organizations. The screening is free and open to the public.
