Events at LFPL

Bring your kids for a full hour of "ALL ABOUT ANIMALS" with Metro Animal Services. We will cover everything your child needs and wants to know about safety with animals, animal occupations, being a responsible pet owner and how to care for a pet. Students will develop empathy for companion animals and begin to shape their views of these animals thru a lens of respect, compassion, and concern for their wellbeing. We will use interactive materials and shelter animals to teach a greater understanding of animal safety. Children will also be able to share and ask questions. All ages welcome
