Events at LFPL

Paul Cappiello, executive director of Yew Dell Botanical Gardens in Crestwood, Ky., will teach four classes on the science of gardening - from plant biology to what's-this-stuff-we-call-dirt. Classes will be held on four Wednesday evenings at the Main Library, January 9 - 30. Cappiello -- plant researcher, author, photographer, plant explorer and international lecturer -- holds a bachelor's degree in environmental planning and design from Rutgers University and a master's degree and doctorate in horticulture from the University of Illinois.
