The Bright Side of Frustration Fast Class

PastTuesday, January 15, 2019 - 06:30 PM - 08:00 PM

This talk by University of Louisville Associate Professor of Philosophy Andreas Elpidorou will sing the praises of frustration. Stories of art, mathematical discoveries, animal behavior, video games, and neuroscience will be weaved together to show that although frustration is unpleasant and initially opposes progress, it can also be extremely energizing. Frustration isn’t a failure, but a temporary setback, fraught with the possibility of success. Frustration is an opportunity to be invigorated by the various obstacles that life inevitably lays in our paths. The class is free and open to the public, but registration is requested. Call (502) 574-1623 to reserve your spot.
