African American History Month Film Series: Black Panther

In collaboration with the University of Louisville Health Sciences Center Office of Diversity and Inclusion, LFPL presents Black Panther (PG-13), the international blockbuster about the heroes of the fictional African nation of Wakanda. The film will be followed by a panel discussion with UofL faculty, representatives of community organizations, and members of the public about portrayals of African culture, the roles of women, and the advent of the black superhero.
