Reader's Corner
Looking for a good book? Reader's Corner has everything you need, from reading suggestions to book discussion kits. Every branch location can provide you with readers' advisory services. Just ask staff for assistance at the information desks.
What do I Read Next? and Novelist are two subscription readers' advisory resources available to library card holders. If you are not using the databases at one of our libraries, you'll be required to enter a valid library card number and PIN.
- Audiobooks - All LFPL locations have audiobooks. The Library has both books on cassette and books on CD. Audiobooks may be returned to any library branch. The overdue fine is $0.25 per day per audiobook with a $5 maximum fine. Book drops are open 24 hours for your convenience. Reserves may be placed on audiobooks. Audiobooks can be renewed up to three times each. Audiobooks may not be used for commercial purposes and no admission may be charged for group use. The borrower must present a library card or his/her own identification for checkout, be responsible for determining suitability of an audiobook for its audience, pay the replacement cost if a audiobook is lost or if damage is greater than normal wear and tear.
