LFPL’s Technology Boot Camp is a six-week program to help individuals discover and strengthen skills to work, play, and learn online.

Technology Boot Camp is a free, self-guided program delivered via this very website, available to anyone with an Internet connection at home, work, or any Library location. During each of the program’s six weeks, this website will feature a different topic: blogging, cloud computing, social media, photo sharing, and more. Easy-to-understand explanations build knowledge and fun hands-on exercises apply new skills.

To register for the program and receive email notices when new lessons are added to the website, please visit the registration page.

This program owes its existence to the inspiration provided by Helene Blowers, whose Learning 2.0 program, originally delivered to staff at the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, provided the model for Technology Boot Camp.
