Curbside Pickup & Delivery

Curbside Pickup & Delivery

The Louisville Free Public Library is now offering curbside pick-up of library materials at all locations.

Patrons place items on hold in the online catalog and receive a notification when the items are ready for pickup. Next, contact the library branch to schedule a pick-up time.

Do you need to return Library materials?

All library materials can be returned via library book drops during library open hours. Items that are more than 2 months overdue may result in a replacement charge. When items are returned, replacement fees will be removed.

Curbside FAQ

How do I use curbside pickup?

Patrons place items on hold in the online catalog and receive an email notification when the items are ready for pickup. Next, contact the library branch to schedule a time to pick up the held items. For quicker service, select books already housed at your preferred Library branch since moving books between locations will result in a delay in service.

Do I need a car to get service?

You do not need a car to pick up materials. You will need to get to the Library site and follow the same procedures as someone in a car. But rather than placing your items in a car, staff will place your materials on a table for pickup.

Are you taking book donations?

Unfortunately, we are not accepting book donations at this time.
