Day at the South Central Regional Library Saturday, November 1, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Louisville, Ky. (October 16, 2025) – Today Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg announced that the Louisville Free Public Library’s annual Family S.T.E.A.M. Day will return to the South Central Regional Library (7300 Jefferson Boulevard) on Saturday, November 1, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. This FREE, family-friendly event brings educational institutions together for a wide variety of hands-on, interactive learning opportunities. “Time and again, we’ve heard from families that this is one of their favorite library events,” said Mayor Greenberg.  “We’re calling all creative thinkers and are excited to have this event back at our South Central Regional Library.” This year is the COLLIDER Artists’ Edition and features activities and presentations on multi-media art, animation, drawing, storytelling, fiber arts, printmaking, balloons, and more, all presented by alumni of LFPL’s COLLIDER Artist-in-Residence program. Other participating organizations include: American Printing House’s The Dot Experience, Central Creativity’s Ozobots and 3D pens, Louisville Astronomical Society’s telescopes, STEMY, and Kentucky Science Center’s weather expo.
