hoopla also provides access to audiobooks as well as streaming movies, popular music, comics, and more - with no wait! Patrons can access all of this content online at hoopladigital.com and via the hoopla app.

You can access it 24/7 on your computer, tablet, or smartphone, as well as stream it on your TV using Roku, FireTV, AppleTV, or Android TV. Limit six credits per month, per library card.

Physical audiobook formats

The Library carries Playaways and Books on CD for patrons who prefer to listen offline, with no internet or network connection.

Audiobook


Playaways are individual audiobooks preloaded on a digital audio player with headphones. Listeners do not need another device or internet connection, but do need one AA battery. Search the catalog by “audiobook” and look for this icon. 

CD icon

Listeners will need a CD player to listen to Books on CD. To search for these, choose “Books on CD” in the format field and look for this icon.
