Being blind is not about what people can’t do – it’s about what they can do! Instructors of this workshop, who are blind, will demonstrate how they read and the technologies that empower them. Getting hands on with technology, children can discover how screen-readers catch mistakes, how magnification devices and large print reduce eye strain, and how books are bound… all before using their discoveries to make their own braille book.
