The How-To Festival returns to the Main Library

The How-To Festival returns Saturday, May 12, 10:00 a.m–3:00 p.m. at the Main Library

Want to learn how to Flamenco dance? Work metal like a blacksmith? Raise goats?

These are just some of the more than 100 things you can learn in five hours at the Library’s annual How-To Festival.

This year’s Festival is a mix of past favorites—how to milk a cow, decorate cupcakes, and train your dog—along with new lessons, such as how to dance an Irish jig, make apple cider vinegar, and grow a 10-foot tomato plant. Kid-friendly activities include how to make a glass ornament for Mother’s Day and how to Chinese fan dance.
