Ripple Effects, Water in Louisville Photo Contest

Ripple Effects Photo Contest

The Ripple Effects: Exploring Water in Louisville photo contest asked students in the Louisville area to capture images of what water means to them. We had more than 200 entries in the contest with some incredibly thoughtful and creative photos submitted by students in all age groups. The winners of the Ripple Effects Student Photo Contest were announced at a special awards ceremony at Waterfront Park on June 21st. The winning entries will also be featured in an exhibit this fall as part of the Louisville Photo Biennial.

The Ripple Effects: Exploring Water in Louisville photo contest was presented by Louisville Free Public Library, the Kentucky Division of Water, Kentucky Center for African American Heritage, University of Louisville College of Education, Louisville Water Company, Waterfront Park, and River City Paddle Sports.
