Megan is thrilled to return to the Louisville Free Public Library Play Reading Series for her third time and to join this diverse group of talented artists. She has worked locally with StageOne, LFL, Pandora Productions, Liminal Playhouse, The Bard Theatre, and This Bridge Theatre; with Mary Shelley Electric Co. as a puppeteer and movement artist, and with Moving Collective and LouCoLab as a dancer. Most recently, she performed with Mary Shelley Electric Co. at the Storytelling Revolution Festival in The Tongue, a piece she also helped devise and choreograph. She’s grateful to be back in the mix and sharing stories with such vibrant company.

Lucas Adams, CFP(r), CRPC(TM), RICP(r) Lucas was a practicing theatre artist and administrator for many years in Louisville. He has worked with StageOne Family Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Theatre (502), Pandora Productions, and others. While not active in the theatre community any longer, he is an avid patron and is excited to be here with you today for his third play reading with the Library. These days Lucas is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(r) Professional with Reliant Wealth Planning and an ultramarathon runner.

Tad has worked on well over 100 productions with 15 or so companies - primarily as an actor or director, but also as co-founder, artistic director, producer, and playwright. Among those companies were the KY Shakespeare Festival, the Necessary Theatre, Finnigan Productions, Theatre 502, Savage Rose Classical Theatre Company, and the Liminal Playhouse. He was commissioned by ATL to write and direct 3 one-act plays. He also translated, adapted, and directed Ionesco's The Bald Soprano and Genet's The Maids.

Julia Estrada is a performer, educator, and arts strategist whose work bridges Broadway and brain science. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Texas State University and a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology from the University of Hartford. She is the founder of AlloImpact, a consulting firm that helps arts and healthcare organizations grow through strategic, research-informed approaches grounded in human behavior and creative practice. Theatre credits include Broadway: Hamilton (Peggy/Maria, U/S Eliza and Angelica); National Tour: Hamilton (U/S Schuyler Sisters); New York City: I Married an Angel (Encores!); Regional: Evita (Eva Perón), Evita (The Mistress), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey) and West Side Story (Maria).

After 25 years performing in musical theatre, film, and TV in LA, NYC, Europe, and regionally, Ben transitioned to teaching math at DuPont Manual High School a few years ago. Back in the day, he also directed/produced three award-winning documentary feature films - YERT: Your Environmental Road Trip (NETFLIX / iTunes / Amazon), NERVE: How a Small Kentucky Town Led the Fight to Safely Dismantle The World's Chemical Weapons (Vimeo), and EVOLVE: Driving a Clean Future in Coal Country (PBS / KET) - all of which you can watch at www.benevanscreative.com. Alfie is delighted to be participating in today's reading of Allison’s House. Alfie studied at both The Youth Performing Arts School and the American Musical and Dramatics Academy. Alfie was recently seen in The Color Purple with Red Line Production Company at Actors Theatre of Louisville. Other previous credits include Over My Dead Body, Midsummer Night's Dream, Once on This Island with Actors Theatre of Louisville and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Alfie entertained with Disney Cruise Line sailing aboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. Alfie has been seen at Derby Dinner Playhouse in Young Frankenstein, Newsies, The Children's Theatre Series (Stinky Kids The Musical, Rapunzel, Christmas In Candyland, How I Became a Pirate, Fancy Nancy), and has choreographed locally in productions such as The Color Purple, Once on This Island, The Kentucky Shakespeare Company, Choir Boy, A Chorus Line, Kiss Me Kate, The Addams Family, and Hedwig & The Angry Inch. Georgette is excited to be part of the LFPL Main Off-Broadway Play Reading Series, having spent much of her youth reading novels and plays at the Bon Air Library. Selected acting credits include the Abbess in The Comedy of Errors, Mistress Quickly in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Maria in Twelfth Night, Duchess of York in Richard III, Julia in The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Nurse in Romeo and Juliet, and Alice in Henry V (Kentucky Shakespeare Festival). With Pandora Productions, she appeared as Irma in Looking for Normal, Alice B. Toklas in Gertrude Stein and a Companion, and Reggie Fluty/Ensemble in The Laramie Project. Other favorite roles include Mrs. Tottendale in The Drowsy Chaperone, M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias, Emma Cristano in Over the River and Through the Woods, and Marian Fishbone in The Bunco Squad (Derby Dinner Playhouse), as well as Amanda in The Glass Menagerie, Melissa in Love Letters, and Madge in The Dresser (Stage on Spring).

Jennice is delighted to make her first public reading with LFPL. Local stage credits include Stage One’s productions of Elephant & Piggie’s We Are in a Play (Piggie), The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Grace), and Number the Stars (Inge), as well as This Bridge Theatre’s Our Town (Miss Webb), where she also assistant directed Domesticate. Prior to moving to Louisville, Jennice performed in Los Angeles with The Road Theatre Company, developing new plays, and Fugitive Kind Theatre, creating adaptations of classic works.   On camera, she has appeared in the feature film Myth of Man and Eenie Meanie from 20th Century Fox. Upcoming projects include The Pastor’s Wife for Lifetime and the independent film Ex.  She holds an MFA in Acting from UC Irvine, is certified in Knight Thompson Speechwork, and is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher.

Kelly has performed with several local companies, including Kentucky Shakespeare, Iroquois Amphitheater, Little Colonel Playhouse, and Looking for Lilith. She served for four years as Artistic Director of Savage Rose Classical Theatre Company, having been active with the company in many capacities since its inception. She also produced and performed in Savage Rose’s play readings at Vault 1031 and the Speed Art Museum. For 14 seasons, she has been one of a 3-actor ensemble who annually devises An Evening of Poe, staging over 30 works by Edgar Allen Poe, which has been presented at The Frazier History Museum, Belle of Louisville, and at StageOne.
