Adults and teens (13+) are welcome to use the Maker Lab during open hours and will receive Maker 101 training on the spot if they have not already completed the orientation. Drop in to work on your own projects using the machines available in the space: Cricut vinyl and paper cutter, Glowforge laser cutter, Adobe Creative Suite, Makerbot 3D printer, Janome sewing machines, Roland large format vinyl cutter, and button makers. Patrons can use any machine for up to 2 hours. All machines are first come, first served. Patrons must complete a Maker 101 and sign a waiver to use equipment during open hours.

English Conversation Club allows English language learners to practice English with volunteers of native or near-native fluency. For English language learners, ECC is a great way to practice English while getting to know their neighbors and American culture. Join us for a comprehensive tour of the Maker Pavilion! In this hour long walk through, you will learn about the rules and tools available for use in the Maker Space, Media Studio, and Recording Booth. Completion of this orientation is required before making an appointment to use the equipment and supplies in the Maker Pavilion. LFPL's maker spaces are intended for adults and teens. Children welcome with adult supervision. Registration is not required to attend the orientation.

Do you want to start a podcast? This program takes you through the whole podcasting process including concept, the fundamentals of audio recording and some tips on how to publish your show.
Join us to learn how to use the Maker Pavilion's Glowforge Laser Cutter machine. This beginner level class will walk you through operation of the Glowforge and fundamental laser design concepts.
