In the digital age, photographic qualities once thought to be “real” are now easily altered, distorted, or “faked.” This hands-on program will introduce some of the basic tools of photo compositing and manipulation using the free, shareware application GIMP. See how new images can be composited in layers from other images, and how color and other picture qualities can be adjusted, changed, and dramatically manipulated.
