Collaborative Recycled Sculpture Playshop
About this event
Body
Join COLLIDER Artist-in-Residence Linda Erzinger for this playshop which encourages participants to build a large-scale sculpture from recycled plastics like Styrofoam and woven produce bags. Participants will explore creative joining techniques—such as weaving, binding, and stacking—to transform individual pieces into a unified work. The session fosters teamwork and sparks discussion on viewing waste as a resource. The final sculpture will reflect the power of collective art and the boundless potential of recycling. Participants are encouraged to bring Styrofoam packaging materials if possible. Ages 8-99 Email Liz.Magee@lfpl.org to sign up.
