What services/features would you like to see at the Fern Creek Library?
Books, audiobooks, newspapers, magazines, CDs & DVDs, computers/WiFi, places to read and study, classes and events, inviting spaces for children, tool rental
Comfortable, quiet spaces
Children’s reading areas and play areas
Wall space dedicated to community history
Small shop to sell coffee, tea, soda, etc.
Gaming area for teens
Co-working spaces for parents to work while watching their children
A stage for youth to act out stories and other performances

What kinds of programs would you like offered?
Yoga, ESL and literacy classes, genealogy, art classes, dancing classes, acting classes, book clubs, book signings, language meet-ups, craft classes

What would you like to see offered in the Makerspace?
3D printer + classes on how to use, robotics, embroidery machines, sewing machines, art and craft supplies, Adobe Creative Suite, Excel on an Apple computer, podcasting equipment

Exterior Suggestions:
•    Native Kentucky plants, trees and shrubs in landscaping / add plant ID signs to make a mini botanical garden
•    Plenty of exterior lighting
•    Rear entrance to provide access for Fern Creek Elementary / River walk to elementary school
•    Water feature (inside or out)
•    Tear down gas station – make library visible from Bardstown Road / use it for additional parking and green space
•    High school participation in maintaining the rooftop garden
•    Flag pole
•    Portable outdoor seating
