Getting Started

Thank you for your interest in using the Northeast Regional Library's Maker Pavilion. In order to utilize the space and its resources, you must first complete the Maker 101 Orientation (offered Mondays at 6:30 PM; no registration required) and submit a signed waiver.

If you’re unable to attend the Monday orientations, email us and we will work with you to schedule a one-on-one orientation.

Weekly Hours

Sunday & Monday: Closed (orientation on Mondays, 6:30-7:30 PM)
Tuesday: 12:30-2:30 PM; 3-5 PM
Wednesday & Thursday: 12:30-2:30 PM; 3-5 PM; 5:30-7:30 PM
Friday & Saturday: 9-11 AM; 12:30-2:30 PM

General Information

An appointment allows you to reserve a workstation in the Maker Pavilion for a two-hour period. Limited supplies are available at each workstation.

We don’t reserve the button machine, laminator, or Ellison die cut machine, so you will not see these listed on the request form. You may drop in without an appointment to use these machines when we are open—hours listed above.

Appointment Policies

• Submit your appointment request 2 to 3 business days in advance. Staff may not be able to respond to same-day appointment requests.
• You may submit a maximum of 2 appointment requests. Once 2 appointments are scheduled, you must wait until your first appointment is complete before submitting another appointment request.
• Submitting this request form does not create your appointment. A library staff member will contact you to either confirm your appointment or to let you know that the requested time is unavailable.
• Appointment requests may be submitted up to 3 weeks in advance.
• You may have 1 appointment per day, and up to 2 per week.
• Appointments will be held for 15 minutes, and then released.
• You are welcome to come as a walk-in, but availability is not guaranteed. It is best to request an appointment in advance.
• You may only use 1 workstation at a time.
• Families or groups with children ages 12 and younger may reserve 1 workstation per family or group. Children must be supervised at all times at the workstation by an adult that has completed the Maker 101 Orientation.
