Getting Started

Thank you for your interest in using the Northeast Regional Library’s Maker Pavilion. To utilise the space you must:

  • Complete the Maker 101 Orientation (2nd & 4th Mondays, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.)
  • Submit a signed waiver

General Information

An appointment reserves one workstation in the Maker Pavilion for a two-hour block. Limited supplies are provided at each station.

  • Sewing Machine

Workstations available for walk-in use

  • Laminator
  • Ellison Machine
  • Button Makers
  • Silhouette Cameo Machine
  • Craft Table
  • Digital Design Software (Adobe Creative Cloud)

 

Appointment Policies

  1. Submit requests 2-3 business days in advance. Same-day requests may go unanswered.
  2. You may submit up to two active requests. After those are scheduled, wait until one is complete before requesting another.
  3. Submitting the form does not guarantee an appointment. Staff will confirm or suggest alternatives.
  4. Requests can be made up to 21 days ahead.
  5. Limit: 1 appointment per day, 2 per week.
  6. Arrive within 15 minutes of your start time or the slot will be released.
  7. Walk-ins are welcome but not guaranteed—booking ahead is best.
  8. You may only occupy one workstation at a time.
  9. Families/groups with children ≤ 12 yrs may reserve one workstation per group. Children must be supervised by an adult who has completed Maker 101 Orientation.
