Memories of Little Africa

Little Africa was a vibrant community with an important legacy, but few people in Louisville know its story. This program will introduce attendees to some of the history of Little Africa that has been gathered by Howard Breckenridge over the years and invite attendees who have memories of the neighborhood to share their stories and discuss what work they think should be done to continue to document Little Africa's history and significance for future generations. People with personal connections to Little Africa are strongly encouraged to attend.
