From the production of inexpensive paper, to painting on canvas, the introduction of the printing press, the invention of photography, and now the proliferation of digital technologies, new ways of making, distributing, and thinking about art have always accompanied the adoption of new technologies. We’ll look at how new technologies changed the history of art, creating new media and possibilities for artists and the cultures they lived in. Registration is required, email bruce.linn@lfpl.org.
