Introduction to Crochet **CLASS FULL**
About this event
Join COLLIDER Artist-in-Residence Haley Banks for this program, an introductory workshop designed to teach the fundamental skills of crochet. Participants will learn essential techniques, including how to choose the right tools, create a slip knot, make a chain, crochet into the chain, and build length and height in their projects. The workshop project will focus on creating a small, practical bookmark, allowing participants to apply all the techniques learned in one simple project. The goal is to provide a strong foundation in crochet basics, encouraging continued practice and interest in the craft. As part of the COLLIDER program, studio office hours will be available throughout the month for any additional assistance or clarification. This workshop is ideal for those looking to start their crochet journey and develop a new creative skill. Space is limited. Ages 13-99.
