Main Off-Broadway - Play Reading Series: R.U.R. (Rossum’s Universal Robots)

Main Off-Broadway - Play Reading Series is a monthly program that brings to life classic plays that have recently entered the public domain. Each month we will showcase a different work read aloud by talented Louisville actors.  

Decades before Asimov invented the three laws, Čapek introduced the world to the term “robot”. In this sci-fi world robots are visually indistinguishable from humans and have become indispensable to the manufacturing industry, used only for labor.  

What happens when the robots question the system?
