The Library Advisory Commission meeting will be held in-person at the Main Library on Tuesday, June 17, at 4:30 p.m.
Patrons of all ages are invited to kick off this year's Summer Reading & Cultural Pass programs with a day full of fun, family-friendly, hands-on activities at the Main Library on Saturday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees can explore this year's Summer Reading theme, “The Great Summer Reading Caper," with mystery-themed stations, a scavenger hunt, and fun crafts. Plus meet Jasper the Rabbit from Creepy Carrots and enjoy special live performances from Louisville Leopards Percussionists and Ambo Dance Theatre. The new Cultural Pass app will be available for download just in time for kids and teens to start their summer adventures and discover new experiences throughout Greater Louisville.
The Summer Reading & Cultural Pass Kickoff is FREE and presented by the Library Foundation and Cultural Pass partners, including Fund for the Arts, Arts and Culture Alliance, and Metro Government.
