Tell Your Story: Comic Autobiographies

Join COLLIDER Artist-in-Residence Joyce Barbour for this workshop, where participants will create handmade comics about their lives. Participants will learn some of the history of comics and zines, the importance of autobiographical comics as a literary medium, and how these stories connect us. This workshop not only acts as a tool for self-reflection, but also exercises creativity through illustration and creative writing. Basic collage supplies will be provided but participants are welcome to bring specific items from home. Registration is required, email liz.magee@lfpl.org to sign up. Ages 13-99
